Shaun Holmes(RSA), Mike Oresmond(RSA), Marty McCann(IRE) and Mark Taylor(IRE) all arrived at a rural break in North west Donegal to start a week long surf tour around the North west. The surf was better than expected giving the fact that the trip took place in August and well before the start of our wave season, but Ireland never fails to disappiont and the wave's showed long enough for some great session's. The format was simple, free surf with no comp's which allowed the lad's to really surf their heart's out. We even found one or two deserted break's. It was a great chance to discuss plans about how to progress the sport in Ireland. There were a few off day's and enough time for a few pint's of the black stuff(when in Rome) and an enjoyable week was had by all.
